Trodian Empire Sponsored Tournament - August 2008

The Trodian Empire will be hosting its second TTE Tournament.

Date and Time: Saturday August 9th at 1:00PM Eastern Standard time. (East Coast USA)

Rules and regulations:
- The game is Triple Triad and will be a 1 day event.
- This tournament will consist of only 16 players in bracket format. (created by a Trodian Empire member on the day of the tournament)
- Each rounds is a best of three match - Best out of three wins. If tied after three, players will continue to play until the tie is broken
- The entry fee is 500gp
- Rules for the matches are: Closed, Random, Full Deck, Min 9, (Optional Rank freeze but both must agree).

PRIZES:

5th receives 500gp (their entry fee)
4th receives 1000 gp (double their entry fee)
3rd receives two lvl 10's (to be determined)
2nd receives three lvl 10's (to be determined)
1st receives 2500 gp and 1 lvl 10 (Chii)

But....I think that the games must be with Combo (and more rules...) Because with your rules ppl that have lucky can beat to ppl that know play very well... ¿no?

Next month i might add in combo. The idea is to hae a different game with different rules each month. Over time i want to be able to play to all players strenghts. I personally am terrible at these rules, but others are very good at them.

Good chance, combo will be involved next month.
