Trodian Empire Sponsored Tournament - October 2008

I know we just had our september tourny, but i wanted to get ideas for the October tournament.

As you all know, i want to have different tournaments each month to appeal to differeny types of players in the game.

The last 2 months were geared more anti-stacker tourny's (which i came in 3rd and 4th in for all haters ).

August = TT full deck
September = Omni random 5

I think october should give stackers a change to shot off their good decks.

Either:

Omni player 7
or
TT min 9 random (maybe plus minus)

Can i get other ideas?

i would prefer TT min 9(or 8?) with plus and same



or do you ever thought about team battles?
maybe we play 2 rounds
for example:
player 1 and player 2 are team 1
player 3 and player4 are team 2

first round:
player 1 vs player 3
player 2 vs player 4

second round
player 1 vs player 4
player 2 vs player 3

like in football a win is 3 points and a tie 1 point...if you loose you get no points^^

if one team wins the two games the team is in the next round(12:0)

thirst game is tied second wins team 1 third tied and fourth is won by team 2(5:5)
in this example the player who got the most points will fight about the win(means player 2(3 points) and player 3(3 points)

if both player have the same number of points they can choose who plays^^





i think its a bit confusing...but i think this will make the tourney much more different from the others^^

please tell me if you think this is bullshit xD i will accept it^^

I totally understand Kisox, but i don't think many others will.

If we tried it i think i would be overwhelmed with PM's on the day of the tourny.

I try to make it wasy to understand, and i wouldn't be able to make a clear bracket for prople to look at.

As it is i paste the link for the bracket into main chat and people still have no idea who to play..

yeah...but if you say you want the tourney to be different you should think of other ways a tourney could work

maybe not just one game...maybe on round TT next omni triad last memory...and than just best of 3^^

i like tEAM IDEAS myb if one of tje members loses its up to the other one or sothing if this make sence >_>

hm maybe we can handle the chaos of PM's if we make something like areas of responsibility...some groups who has 2 or 4 members they can talk to if they have questions^^

I know guys sorry.... work has been insane lately and i need to fly out of state for wook on friday for a week.

I"ll bee back the following week, but i'll try and set up the tourny whole i'm out there and run it the saturday i'm back.
